HMI Display Hardware

HMI Systems offers 3 different size LCD displays for integration within CAN networks:

• 516CANDI -- 2.4" 320x240 pixel 262k color LCD 350 nit brightness
• 550MDI -- 4.3" 480x272 pixel 262k color LCD 1100 nit brightness
• 700MDI -- 7.0" 800x480 pixel 262k color LCD 400 nit brightness

All displays include a resistive touchscreen and 4 GB internal micro SD card storage memory.

The 516CANDI is an entry level display including the following features:

• Removable micro SD card
• Snap in place dash mounting
• Common housing with other HMI products (482CRM, 521CRED, 524CAM

The 550MDI has a few advanced features:

• Single composite (CVBS) video input supporting various NTSC/PAL formats.
• Internal 1.5W speaker for audio playback of WAV files stored on micro SD card.
• Dual CAN transceivers that can be independently configured for bridging between different speed CAN networks.
• Single LIN transceiver.
• Single channel analog input (0-5VDC).
• Internal temperature sensor.
• USB interface for transferring files to internal micro SD card.
• RAM mount capable.

The 700MDI includes the following advanced features:

• Four channel composite (CVBS) video inputs supporting various NTSC/PAL formats.
• Internal 1.5W speaker for audio playback of WAV files stored on micro SD Card.
• Dual CAN transceivers that can be independently configured for bridging between different speed CAN networks.
• Internal temperature sensor.
• USB interface for transferring files to internal micro SD card.
• 9 way rubber molded keypad adjacent to display.
